Failed to update repository settings

FreeBSD 14.0-CURRENT
When I try to update GUI shows

But when I click update, it fails with empty update page or just fails with version check.
When I try to update via option 13 it ALWAYS fails with
Failed to update repository settings

Is there something changed or some server problems/updates?

a few seconds later, after clicking at system update again

the other system offers newer version

sometimes it refuses with failed check for updates until reboot, written in red.
Update ends with blank update page on both.

Rolled back to 22.05, successfully updated to 23.01-DEVELOPMENT (amd64)
built on Fri Dec 09 18:24:45 UTC 2022
Two hours later updated to 23.01.a.20221210.0318 without problem.
BTW update from 22.05 switched repository back to stable, so check this out.

@w0w Thanks for your boot environment roll back to 22.05 suggestion. The appliance then updated to current 23.01 version.

That did the trick for me.

If you are running an older snapshot and seeing that error:

failed to update the repository settings!!!

Then do this to pull in the fixes for it:

pkg upgrade -fy pfSense-upgrade pfSense-base

Then upgrade from the command line to reach the current snapshot:

pfSense-upgrade -dy
